Work in teams on the topics of Security and Privacy. Track down the “hacker” and secure the data.
A social hacker posed as an accountant and captured a lot of sensitive data. As many as three days he walked around your organization undisturbed, so the damage is enormous. All important data is on the street. Will your teams manage to track down the hacker and get the lost data to safety in time?
About Cyber Escaperoom
In the Cyber Escaperoom, teams of three to five get to work on the topics of privacy, information security, AVG and data breaches in a spectacular online game format.
Participants actively investigate to track down the “social hacker” and secure the data.
During their search, they learn the knowledge needed to work safely with sensitive data. Sense of competition within and between teams ensures enthusiasm and maximum participation. Time pressure leaves colleagues with unsafe choices and immediate confrontation.
Participants will face such issues as:
- secure use of passwords;
- safe use of USB devices and documentation;
- Working with a clean desk and clear screen;
- verify financial transactions;
- safe use of social media;
- Knowledge of AVG rules;
- Knowledge of internal procedures surrounding data breaches;
- social engineering; or seducing with influence techniques.
Upon completion, employees will be better able to recognize and prevent potential data breaches.

“There is great appreciation here for this creative way of activating the organization; such a combination of learning and a sensational activity for employees. On our internal Social Media, 30% of the organization has liked the coverage of it. Utrechtse Heuvelrug shows here in a best practice how to activate employees for a difficult subject like privacy. I am enormously proud of that.”
