Personal data we process

Brooklyn Partners processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide it to us yourself.

Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

– E-mail address
– Phone number
– the organization you work for

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@brooklynpartners.nl and we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

Based on your consent, Brooklyn Partners processes your personal data for the following purposes:
– Request for (follow-up) investigations
– Various requests for information on our website
– Our newsletter
– Sharing customer experiences with other organizations (only if you have given explicit permission)

We enter into agreements with our clients for our services. For the purpose of executing these agreements, we also process personal data.

If you download a document from our website, we ask you to provide your name and e-mail address. We use this information to send the desired document to you. Also, you can receive emails from us at this email address with trends and information about our information security services.

Automated decision-making

Brooklyn Partners does not make decisions about matters that could (significantly) affect individuals on the basis of automated processing. These are decisions made by computer programs or systems, without a human being (e.g., an employee of Brooklyn Partners) sitting in between.

How long we keep personal data

Brooklyn Partners retains names and e-mail addresses for the purposes described above. Once someone unsubscribes, we immediately delete all personal data. For personal data that we process for the purpose of executing an agreement, we make specific agreements with our customers about the retention period of the personal data. Sharing personal data with third parties

Brooklyn Partners shares your personal data with various third parties as necessary to execute an agreement and to comply with any legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a processor agreement to ensure an adequate level of security and confidentiality of your data. Brooklyn Partners remains responsible for this processing.

Brooklyn Partners shares customer experiences with other organizations if you have given explicit permission to do so.

Brooklyn Partners uses some cloud services to perform its services, such as a service for sending its newsletters. Either a processor agreement is in place with these cloud services or Brooklyn Partners otherwise ensures your privacy.

To ensure that the request was made by you, we ask that you send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. After checking, we destroy this copy immediately. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
